Congressman Stockman is a traditional conservative flagbearer who built his political career advocating for small government, strong national values, and limited foreign intervention. He served two nonconsecutive terms in the U.S. House of Representatives, first representing Texas’s 9th District from 1995 to 1997, and later Texas’s 36th
District from 2013 to 2015.
During his time in Congress, Stockman gained a reputation for his staunchly conservative views, vocal opposition to Democrat administrations, and a focus on issues such as border security, government spending, and the protection of constitutional rights. Stockman didn’t show up to Congress quietly, writing bill after bill in the interest of defending
American values. One of his most well-known proposals was the Sanctity of Life Act, which sought to legally define human life as beginning at conception, authentically representing Texas’s fight for traditional family values in the halls of Congress. He also introduced the Biometric Information Privacy Act, aimed at protecting Americans’ personal identifying data, such as fingerprints, DNA, and facial scans, from being sold without consent. The Gun Confiscation and Registration Prevention Act, the Cryptocurrency Protocol Protection and Moratorium Act, and the Second Amendment Restoration Act of 1995 were all notable proposals authored by Stockman during his two terms serving Texas.
In 2014, Stockman ran in the Texas Republican primary for the U.S. Senate, receiving over 250 thousand votes. In 2018, he was prosecuted by activist judges and lawyers on trumped-up charges, for which he was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison. However, in December 2020, President Donald Trump commuted his sentence, ending the incarceration of a true American hero who was targeted by the deep state for advocating on behalf of conservative values.
